Mods, apologies for prising open the coffin lid on this thread, but I'm just curious 4 years on how everyone did?
Did those 'hired' as pilots find employment?
Did anyone reach a legal settlement?
As for the other players, Stef et al, did things work out?
By way of a starter, as mentioned on this thread I went to Africa with the L410, before being rescued by Flybe, initially on the Dash and then the E195. I still get back to Swansea a little.
Despite the debacle, I did make some friends for life up there and, in a perverse way, it set me on the path to a half decent career. After all we shared, I hope it did the same for a few others.

Keep the warning messages out there about fraudsters Mark Davies and Mark Sedgeley
I am glad to see smilingknifed's post above that he survived the aviation fraudsters Mark Davies and Mark Sedgewick and all their many scams. I too eventually got over the huge amount of wasted time and expenses on dealing with Mark Davies.
But there are still several of us left who are dedicated to keeping the search engines fed with up to date information on the fraudsters Mark Davies and Mark Sedgeley. It seems Mark Davies is still trying to perpetrate his escrow grabbing scams (and possibly his VAT scams) out of Jet A 1 JetA-1 Airplane Leasing Anyone heard of what they are doing now in 2011?
Mark Sedgely has incorporated Nimrod Aviation Ltd but there has been less heard of him recently. Anyone heard what scams he is up to now?
If anyone hears anything about any of these companies actually trying to trade, please post it here and we will try to get the fraud warnings out more widely.

Well their website is still going strong, showing lots of impressive customers.
Regretfully however J.A.1.G Ltd 06829584 was dissolved on the 12/10/2010 having only existed since 25/02/2009.

Interesting times from the far end of Europe
Our chum MD seems to have made Cyprus his home... After a spell of showing some of the terminally gormless and gullible at the now defunct Cobalt his bank statement (showing oodles of lucre) he seemed to be trying to make CO fly again. False hopes all round of course, since not even a washer was put into the CO accounts, but he apparently even addressed the staff and introduced himself as the new owner.... when it became clear he had no dosh and he couldn't find an angle, he dropped back into the shadows, and CO joined the ranks of Cypriot airline failures.
The TG&G at CO were apparently shown this thread, and decided to press on regardless, hence proving why the epithet TG&G is apposite.
A few months later, he is back, at the sadly troubled TUS. Same idea, got big numbers on bank statements, none of which seems to be able to be transferred... funny that. Plan seems to have been that he would broker new aircraft (well newer than the ex KLM Fokkers) at an inflated lease rate, and pocket the difference. Having some sort of car-based love-in with the US owner, who seemed (seems??) to think he is the second coming of Christ, and again seems to have taken in the TG&G at TUS - who with some lovely symmetry is the same TG&G bod that was at Cobalt.
Once bitten. Twice, um, bitten.
Rumour has it he has now been told to go forth and multiply... but is the automotive love affair still a thing?
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode....

Marc Davies in Scottsdale arizona
We wish we read this thread before we met this snake. Marc Davies never seen on a polo field is saying he is a professional 7 goal polo player and is stirring up trouble in arizona.
Harrassment is a kind way of putting this, calling all members in community turning friends against each other, calling 3 to 20 community members daily, asking money to partner on polo field. Physotic narcissistic behavior.
The saga continues in scottsdale arizona. Send the goons to north Scottsdale condo. He is destroyed 2 polo clubs so far , turning clubs and community against each other, giving legal advise, spreading fake rumors to destroy everyone for his fantasy polo field he is never building. He goes in for heart surgery the 22nd of this month east coast hopefully he has a change of heart in life. Complete terror to deal with this psychotic narcissism. Does anyone have picture posted? Locations ? Phone numbers?

Very interested to see this serial fraudster Mark Davies (or is it Marc Davies now??) is still causing chaos everywhere he goes. Does he still work with Mark Sedgely, his partner in crime? Its over 10 years since he showed me a fake bank document showing vast financial capacity.
"Markisafraud" - can you maybe publish more details of where he now lives, his contact numbers, emails, etc, so that more people can recognise him through this thread and therefore be more protected from his crimes?
Do we think he is still trying frauds in the aviation sector at all as well?
