To answer your questions FliegerTiger:
1) BUPA covers all immediate members of your family, ie. spouse and kids. Not sure about the pregnancy thing though, I'm past all that. I'm pretty sure you would have to get her pregnant yourself though.
2)Yes.

Any opportunity for pilots whit 1000hours tt and 150 on regional jet?
Hey guys!!!
I know that actual requeriments for Netjets are 1500h, but I would like to know if is there any possibility for a pilot whit jet experience but less than 1500 hours of flight time?
thank you

Alnilam - your question has been asked and answered several times before in this thread.
Essentially they may consider interviewing you if you are only just under the limit (i.e. 1450) as it is likely that you will have gained the additional hours between when you apply and when you join.

Sure 'bout that?
Mike,
I think you will find that the 18 days are not mentioned anywhere in the new pilot contracts or the website.
Now it is 6/5 (7/6) and a maximum of 50 days a quarter. 18 days a months are no longer part of the equation, I believe.
Cheers,
driver

Command possibility
Hi Guys,
Just seen the latest ad in flight. Whats the chances of commands or time to commands. Have Uk ATPL, 10,000hr t/t, 7000 jet, and only command time on turbo props. Do they give a option of basing.
Thanks

Hi there,
Just curious, what's the reason for all of you guys to preffer NJE over an airline? It seems that most of you have more than 2000-3000h TT .Is it the type of operations cause the money don't seem to me that great after taxes.
Can't you get the same pay in a regional or low cost airline?
I am getting close to 1500TT 1000+jet(BAe 146),but I need to work on my ATPL theory.Airline work sometimes is boring flying to the same destination, but being a pilot ,a flight attendant and a ramp agent at the same time for NJE doesn't seem like a dream job to me(except if you fly the G5) I don't know...
Looking for advice
Thanks

My primary reason is the roster... 6/5 and company pays for positionning from wherever you want to live (more or less) which is done on your DUTY days.. So far there is not another company that does it.
The rest....well this is another story I believe.. :-)

When the company positions you on your first day of the tour, do you have to travel in uniform or in your own clothes (i.e frock) ?
I guess wearing uniform only applies if you are going to fly that same day ?

Fly in civvies with your uniform in your suitcase at your peril. If it goes astray you'll be in for tea and biscuits.
Unless of course you're the boss and you leave your uniform or wallet at home in which case the company will send an aircraft to pick them up for you
CL300. Quick question. How much of your travel time (on duty days) is counted by the company as duty? I'm a little out of touch these days

What about your families. Are they ok with the 6/5 roster.I've been talking to my wife and she's worried that 6 days she'll be alone with our son, so that's an issue for me.How about you guys?
I don't know, its kind of a hard to find a job that will promise you being home every night...except if you work for Ryan Air but that's a different story..

Hey guys!
So here goes another lifestyle question....are you guys enjoying any of your nightstops etc Or is it six loong days of not knowing what city you're in?
I realize that it's variable but just an idea would help
Also, I understand that the 6/5 is not a fix roster but a average of work/off (including leave). correct?
Are you operating to some kind of rostering agreement or is it down to legal minimums.
Oh yes, these off day payments they speak of on the website, is that after they ask you wheather you can work overtime or is it "sorry you are needed in paris but don't worry you'll be paid"
Hope you can find time to help me out, cheers!

Might want to check with the wife if this is really the career for her, sorry I mean you.
No matter where you go you will spend time away from home.
6 on 5 Off, there are alot worse roster patterns out there.
