LSVF,
On the 19th, still no letter as such,
just an email from the delightful Carmen...
I wish I knew what I did wrong, had a real good feeling about it.
No feedback policy however so never will know.

NetJets Europe

Hello All

Just wondered if anyone on the inside could shed some light on the current recruitment sittuation within NetJets Europe.

Is the company still taking on FO's and is there still a minimum of 1500TT required ?

Just wondering whether 1000TT (currently flying commercially on TP's) would do, seeing as NetJets have been taking on guys 'n gals straight from flight school recently.

Any info would be gratefully received !

Cheers

One day off during the mid week end. The beach is 5 minutes away from the airport and if the water is cold, it is nice to go for a swim after a day in the classroom.

You will have a lot of time during the indoc and after your sim to have it right..On top of it you really want your part B for your aircraft. Part A is more or less JAR Ops Stuff except FTL which are the portuguese ones.
Know JAR OPS you will be fine..

Flightschool? AB0

This must have happened when I was off. No story heard like that.

1500TT is the requirement, shortly shy of that is acceptable if you are actively flying. It is an insurance thing. Just apply in a few months and get someone to refer you preferably.

Cheers.

As Bizantin said, Global Jet without hesitation. They have a better reputation and you will know which type you will be flying in advance.

IF they are lowering their requirements I would not be surprised. All is not well on the hiring front. Quantity and certainly quality are down and how many resignations so far this year? 50? 60? Be interesting to see how those figures change as December looms closer.

I currently a FO with two of the types on my licence that Netjets operate but have less than the required 1500 hrs, has anyone else been in a similar position and applied, and what was the outcome?

I just heard 1 assessor saying, that the average was lower then expected. that means nothing for the individual....
