And must be taken in the 1960s. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....174e8ed18.jpeg |
Sorry for the late response, have been offline for a while. I had to trawl through the history of the RAFM's Me.262 to find the answer.
Unfortunately nothing to hand atm, so OH declared! |
Might have to speak louder!
OPEN HOUSE! |

Resident a couple of miles away. Other Life Forms both inferior and superior within walking distance. |
Knettishall field near Redgrave and Lopham fen, home of the Raft spider?
|
Nice one Bear but not Knettishall. Don't get bogged down and hindered by this one. Not far to go now. There is a small pottery nearby, likewise folk who are inferior or superior......... Fairly new set up - overhead wires near threshold............
|
Owslebury/Morestead? Lower Upham and Upham (often incorrectly reported as Upper Upham) nearby. (and the Flower POTS pub!)
OH if correct. |
I'm afraid not. Search a couple of miles radius from the fen that Bear mentioned. Clue already given for habitation in first image which incidentally is not the name of the air strip......
PS I'm out this morning. |
|
Very generous of you! Hinderclay Meadows, Suffolk Soaring.
|
Yes I could see this dragging on what with Rickenhall Inferior and Superior etc........
Well Done ea200 ! Over to you. |
Going to be tied up for a few days so Open House please.
|
Hi team. Long time no speak. Here's one for the geologists...

Lava flows?
|
Hi I42. No, the country in which this airfield is situated doesn't have any current or recent volcanic activity. Although I did think those marks on the landscape would be a nice red herring :)

… a nice red herring. ”You shall have a herring on a little dishy You shall have a herring when the boat comes in.” Is it European shingle? |

Is it European shingle? It is indeed European shingle. That's in the geographical sense of the continent of Europe and its islands, peninsulas etc. rather than in the political sense. |
