Hmm, may be replaced in the coming years and 151ft.

Berlin Schönefeld?

Nice people in the tower there. I really liked the crossings they allowed me.

Asturias56 28th Jan 2020 11:54

Not Berlin - further south...................... not too far from the coast as Bear has noticed..............

dook 28th Jan 2020 13:38

1914 - 1918 I presume?

Does the airstrip still exist??

dook 1st Feb 2020 12:43

It doesn't look temporary but was it ?

Maybe German.

nvubu 1st Feb 2020 17:18

1914-18 - tick
Still exists - tick
German - cross

dook 1st Feb 2020 18:02

French then ?

edit: they might be Morane-Saulniers or Spads.

nvubu 1st Feb 2020 19:56

These aircraft aren't French, and I'm fairly sure that they aren't either of these types.

dook 1st Feb 2020 20:06

Oh dear.

RFC ?

JENKINS 1st Feb 2020 21:01

In my youth, Pruniers was a fish restaurant in London. 'Twas also WW1 complex.

nvubu 2nd Feb 2020 08:12

Not Pruniera or RFC

nvubu 2nd Feb 2020 09:03

Yes - the Americans were here.
