It had indeed been Coastal Command, but not in my days there. And yes to UK.

Not Perranporth, but why fear Dook? It is, of course, Saint David's. What else could I post for 1 March? Off now for a celebratory lunch for this special day. I flew DHC1 from the field while working at a secret airfield somewhat to the East. Lovely relaxation after a day of more serious sight-seeing around the British countryside.

Saint David's mother is more venerated in Cornwall as Saint Non. Over to you in the South West.
