skwinty 26th Aug 2011 19:50

Innsbruck?

RegDep 26th Aug 2011 20:02

Let me have a stab before retiring: Bulgaria.

Not the Alps, not Norway or Sweden, next mountains of the magnitude would be in the Balkans…..

sycamore 26th Aug 2011 20:10

StressFree 27th Aug 2011 08:25

RegDep 27th Aug 2011 20:52

Port St Johns it is.

evansb 28th Aug 2011 14:09

Air Mekong CRJ900 at Phu Quoc ?

India Four Two 28th Aug 2011 15:44

50% Bri, must try harder. ;)

An Air Mekong CRJ but not Phu Quoc.

skwinty, my apologies. :(

I missed the fact that you hadn't confirmed RegDep's guess. Sorry for jumping the gun.

skwinty 28th Aug 2011 15:49

No sweat India Four Two, it's only an Internet game.:ok:

sabredog 28th Aug 2011 16:15

Conson Airport (VVCS)

jindabyne 28th Aug 2011 19:04

I'm confused!

India Four Two 29th Aug 2011 01:47

SD,

Well done. Yes, it's Co Ong airport on Con Son Island off the southeast coast of Vietnam, in the Eastern Sea (as it is known here).

You have control.

jindabyne, sorry if I confused you or were you just making a general statement about life? ;)

sabredog 29th Aug 2011 07:14

Thank you,Simon. I believe that Bri should have the next challenge,as he identified the Air Mekong CRJ-200 correctly, thus leading the way. I had searched for CRJs with the same winglet colour scheme, but had no luck!
Evansb,
YHC.

jindabyne 29th Aug 2011 08:39

Mainly the latter India Four Two!

evansb 29th Aug 2011 14:44

Sabredog clearly identified the airport, but I will accept his offer. Here is the next mystery aerodrome:

l'aérodrome de TONG (Tonkin) en 1936. Indochina.

jindabyne 30th Aug 2011 14:26

Avec un Potez542, et un Farman224, sont-ils pas?

evansb 30th Aug 2011 15:14

sabredog is correct.:ok: Tonkin, 1936. You have control.

jindabyne is probably correct as well.

sabredog 30th Aug 2011 16:22

Many Thanks.
Open House.

flyingwing 30th Aug 2011 16:34

Surprised it's not on the list.http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/q...airbase1-1.jpg

RegDep 30th Aug 2011 16:49

Woomera . . .

flyingwing 30th Aug 2011 17:07

Well done Regdep. You have control

PPRuNe Pop 30th Aug 2011 21:21

I have been asking, often enough! Guys you really must post pics NO larger than 850x850 - that is required to stop the page disappearing to the right.

Sorry but I have deleted two that did just that.

You can re-post them at the correct size.

PPP

Russell Gulch 30th Aug 2011 21:54

I understand the frustration, Pop, but why is it not possible for the site owner to restrict photo size? Or is it an option not available?

Can such a site as PPRuNe not persuade Jelsoft to introduce such a site-owner option?

By the way, you missed one on page 9 ;)
