Nothing on Microsoft Edge either, and that is supposed to be the latest browser.

I see it on my iPhone using Safari, but not when using Firefox!

Heathrow Harry 26th Mar 2018 15:35

I use Edge and it works perfectly.

Bill Macgillivray 26th Mar 2018 19:53

Works fine on Google Chrome. Can't recognise it, however!!

rather odd - significant displaced threshold at BOTH ends for no apparent reason
HH,

As an air trafficker you should surely be aware of the possible reasons.

My wife is taking an interest here and she is also retired ATC.

Pure guess, Coventry?

Heathrow Harry 27th Mar 2018 06:31

Not Coventry - once the site of a major air frame builder........ and the displaced threshold (s) doesn't seem to have any logical reason that I can see or discover - other than maybe to restrict the size of aircraft using the airfield

Can now see both pictures on all browsers (IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Edge)

Always using a desktop/Windows 10.

Last week, I couldn't see images at home, but I could at work.

chevvron 27th Mar 2018 07:27

Woodford then. Or maybe the 'Fokker' bit of Schipol?
By the way, there was a major airframe builder at Coventry too.

mustbeaboeing 27th Mar 2018 07:46

Like previous posters, reporting I can now see images on posts 8033 & 8036.
Same iPhone as previously reported being unable to view.

Heathrow Harry 27th Mar 2018 08:28

Not UK......... and not Schipol

Davidsoffice 27th Mar 2018 09:31

If that pic is a Dornier, could it be Oberpfaffenhofen? The displaced thresholds don't appear currently though.
