From the tail markings, somewhere in Denmark.

Don’t you mean Switzerland ? And, I would guess “lowland Switzerland”.

But the tail markings of the two aircraft in the centre are Switzerland not Denmark as stated above.

I hold my hands up ! I was led astray by the Swiss tails on some of the a/c. Or, are they Swiss ? In any event, I was wrong.

I think they are Swiss - I think it was some sort of fly-in... it's not a busy airport TBH

They could well be Swiss; I’d googled Danish GA tail markings and found some with the Danish white cross on a red background, summed that to the flat environment and shot from the hip! Had no luck whatsoever finding the airfield, though. A few observations:
A) the loooong taxiway perpendicular to the runway.
B) Denmark isn’t particularly noted for dense forest and, if I’m not mistaken, most of the forested land is in the north.

That was the attraction of the challenge.........

Laeso it is - a very quiet island between Denmark and Gothenburg. Lieke many of the smaller Danish Islands not much ever happens there but it's part of the charm.......
