It is USA but not Florida. They are Stearmans.

Not a NAS and not WWI but you are both along the right lines

Clue:

Did our visual circuits at Dade-Collier in 1997 with a Carnival A300 out of FLL. One of our Brit. pilots asked where the fire cover was. The reply from the training captain was "about 30 miles away so don't F**k Up"

aNother incidence: there is a C54 "stuck" at Douglas for some years. Something nefarious, I believe, drug smugling or something in the background. Anyway it's all been fixed and should fly again soon.
Russ SMOKEON has control

SMOKEON 7th Dec 2017 21:30

Thank you,Russell.
Open House.

I sometimes get the same problem which disappears when I log in - I suspect its the method the poster sues to post the image. You can link the image to a picture uploaded to your PPrune profile or to another webisite. I always use the former but maybe some external links only become active on login to PPrune

I often get a similar problem with photos that Heathrow Harry posts. On my house computer I have no problems seeing the photos. On my iPad - nothing ! Not being “computer savvy”, I have no idea why this should be so.

Interesting..

the PPrune Album function allows two methods of posting a picture one is URL-based (below)
https://www.pprune.org/members/32618...-03-121405.jpg

and the other is BB (Bulletin Board) based (below)
https://www.pprune.org/members/32618...-03-121405.jpg

can people see both? or not??

nvubu 8th Dec 2017 11:52

I can see both. I always post pics that I'm hosting eleswhere - normally on my One-Drive.

Is that the standard size of the Pprune album?

dixi188 8th Dec 2017 12:13

How about Seeb aka Muscat?
Not been there since 1979 but it looks about right.
Actually Not. GE shows all the desert now built on.

Heathrow Harry 8th Dec 2017 12:35

Dixi - they're illustrations from last week (Nouakchott Airport, Mauritania) to test the image posting - Currently it's Open House

Size seems to be very variable on PPrune - maybe related to the original image size and pixel density - occasionally people manage to post VAST pictures by error
