Although the name I was looking for with the original photos was Batista Airport - as shown in the middle of the 1st photo.:ok:

Another Bernard Matthews 'bootiful' place this one being Oulton, just west of Aylsham Norfolk. Thought at first there were ex Bloodhound launch pads, but I think they're just another sort of production building as they're not visible on Bing maps.

Didn't expect that to last. :)

Birch airfield on le Shima.

According to the article, the Betty 'bounced' heavily on landing as the pilot was so impressed by the crowds that he forgot to put the flaps down.
