Bugger - for a second I though it was a 125.

Well, I'm as bad as you. Just looked at the Mel's Massive List (MML) and looks like we has this in August 2011...

Not British.

Your call mate.

Is this an early bizjet or personal jet?

I assume a Yank.

evansb 28th Apr 2012 14:17

FoxJet ST600-S ?

Lightning Mate 28th Apr 2012 14:18

Morning Canada.........:p

Noyade 28th Apr 2012 14:18

Early Bizjet, circa 1977. Above is a mock-up.

Fuel costs were touted as being as low as 9 cents a mile in 1977, compared to 50 cents a mile or higher for contemporary aircraft.

FoxJet ST600
That's him! Gold to Canada. :ok:
Your control Brian.

Night!

Thanks mate! Sorry, I don't have a silhouette ready, but as this is not a complete photo and is an oblique view, I'll post it anyway:

Lightning Mate 28th Apr 2012 14:46

Is that the O'Neill Magnum ?

evansb 28th Apr 2012 14:55

Spot on Sir David.:ok: The Magnum Bushplane, powered by a Ford 351 cu. in. V-8 automobile engine. I don't know how practical (or strong) that undercarriage would be in the "bush" however... Your control.

Lightning Mate 28th Apr 2012 15:05

I'm not sure either mate. The main gears transmit weight stresses through a 90 degree bend, which ain't the best way of doing things.

In addition the initial landing loads would have been taken by the rear system only.

Anyway, onwards and upwards and good to see you. :)

Speaking of vertical loads and possible spinal compression, is this a basic trainer known as the General Aircraft GAL.45 Owlet ?

Lightning Mate 28th Apr 2012 15:41

That has to be the QinetiQ Zephyr surely.

evansb 28th Apr 2012 15:43

LM, you are on course to be an ace today! Spot on:ok: The U.K. developed Zephyr has set a few records. Your turn.

Lightning Mate 28th Apr 2012 15:50

I applied for a job with QinetiQ a few years ago and was rejected on the grounds that I was over-qualified!!!!!!!!!!!

Standby mate.......

Here you go................
