Afternoon David...looks like a Breda Ba.39 in one of its guises?

Lightning Mate 29th Apr 2012 14:29

That is so so close Mate.

Care to go down a couple of numbers?

evansb 29th Apr 2012 14:35

Breda Ba.33S ?

Lightning Mate 29th Apr 2012 14:49

I'll give that to either of you.

It is in fact the S version.

Fight it out - first to post is accepted , but evansb is exact. :ok:

skytrain10 29th Apr 2012 14:54

You should have it Bri....I found this photo entitled Ba.39, but opening up the article showed that it was incorrectly identified, and was in fact the Ba.33S.

evansb 29th Apr 2012 16:07

Not French.

Lightning Mate 29th Apr 2012 16:11

Italian.........?

evansb 29th Apr 2012 18:06

Not Italian. Asian.

skytrain10 29th Apr 2012 18:36

Built as a seaplane Brian, or a modification of a landplane? Japanese?

evansb 29th Apr 2012 19:10

Not Japanese. Purpose was a seaplane.

skytrain10 29th Apr 2012 19:18

Keep looking at the Feiling-1 from China. Doesn't look right but is it Chinese?

evansb 29th Apr 2012 19:20

Not Chinese. Think off-shore. A 1958 project to be powered by a Continental O-470.

Lightning Mate 30th Apr 2012 06:13

Air ambulance?

skytrain10 30th Apr 2012 09:45

Morning, I'm thinking this may be an I.S.T project from the Philippines? Cannot find any reference to a floatplane, but if their numbering is sequential then is it the I.S.T L-18 (or XL-18)?
