A slip/floating wing machine, David?
No Martin.....
OK. The propshaft looks a little flimsy! Did it fly? Rubber-powered?
No mate - motorcycle engine - and two flew. :)
Avro 558????
That will do nicely. :ok:
Over to you mate. |
Looks fast - a racer?
Appears retractable gear but I can only see a gear cover on the left wheel and not the right. |
Sorry, I missed a bit of shading... nothing asymetric about it! Not a racer
A fighter then?
Nope! I have to say that I've discovered that it has already been on SC! :( I'll keep it on, though as it was a fair while ago! RR
Clue: 360hp donk upfront
Usual rules apply as I'm off to lunch now... RR |
A radial I assume.
If it's an M-14P engine, then it could have been the Bear 360, but the fin is taller on that. |
Yes, a radial. Not the Bear 360. RR See you in an hour... RR
A clincher - the engine is an AI-14P
Would you be interested in the MAI Kvant...?
That's the jobby... You have control, David
Thanks Martin - a good one.
I had been through all the Russian radials but it took some time to find the aeroplane. A bipe for a change..... http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/u...greengrass.jpg |
An Anzani engine?
European? |
Northern European.
Can't reveal the engine because it was made by the manufacturer, which would lead you straight to it. :uhoh: Going home now so light off for a wee while. |
