Evening Graeme. A quick coffee break....is it the Hanriot H.220?
If so will have to be Open House as going to be pretty tied up for the day. |
Morning Ken. Productive coffee break mate. It is the Hanroit H.220. :ok:
Open House. |
Good evening gentlemen!
Been in hectic today plus meetings all afternoon; so first time on SC today and it seems to have been a quiet day. here's one to try and keep things moving! Off home soon, but will turn green light off when I go and will put it back on when I get home :) http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/.../TC_wtf172.jpg |

Evening ninjaconnie,

Hello, is it an M.150 Schulmeister training aircraft?
Edit; Open House if confirmed correct. Thanks! |
:D:D:D:D I reckon that's a good Challenge and a great call from Karlark :ok:
|
Karlark is correct. It is the Continental C.90 powered Meindle (Burgfalke) M-150 Schulmeister. As per request, it is OPEN HOUSE.
|
No takers on the O.H. has bought me time to gather up a new S.C...
Here it is; http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i..._2008/56-4.jpg |
Evening Karark,
I think that's a Canadian Fairchild 45-80 Sekani ?? |
Evening SincoTC. Yes it is the 45-80 Sekani! :D:D:D:D
Another obscure one lost in history. It was the largest "bush" plane ever built. It was fit with both skis and floats. It nearly bankrupt Fairchild! Here are a few pages of photos: Image Bank – Canada Aviation Museum You have control Sinco. |
Thanks Karlark,
An interestig challenge; most of the photos on the web show it as a floatplane from the side; which looks nothing like your silhouette, fortunately I persisted because the description seemed to fit, then I happened across the Canadian Aviation site and found the image yuo had used (even that was captioned as a floatplane)! Another early start for me, but I don't want this one tto linger as monitoring time will be limited, so here's an easy one for those on trailing or leading time zones ;) ! http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/.../TC-wtf174.jpg |
Morning SincoTC, looks a little like a Loire et Olivier 45 series aircraft.
|
looks a little like a Loire et Olivier 45 series The caption says it's a Loire et Olivier LeO.451 I came across this almost ready-made silhouette while looking for images of the post-war flying laboratory 451E variant, which are quite scarce on the web, and being a lazy sod I couldn't resist using it despite that give-away tail Karkark has control :D:D (or is too near bed-time?} :) Oh well, back to work now for me, sleep well :ok: |
Yes, it is time to hit the sack. I leave this impromptu one, please move forward once confirmed by anyone.

Quick afternoon stab. Tupolev SB 2....?
