Am I nom completely off track, but at least this we have had before (or have we? :ooh:).

Ridge Runner 17th Oct 2011 15:07

I stand corrected!!!!! :O Yes, Reg, the CAMCO V-liner!!!

OPEN HOUSE again!!!

RR

RegDep 17th Oct 2011 15:25

Do a test, for your interest:

Giggle "CAMCO V-liner flying" and look at the images. There will be down the line a silhouette by Noyade (Kjeller FF6) and next by Mechta (of Airspeed Tern). Click either of them, and they are the silhouettes next and the following of CAMCO, the closest image to the ID of the CAMCO. Big Brother IS watching us.

Ridge Runner 17th Oct 2011 16:18

Lyco engine, Ken???

skytrain10 17th Oct 2011 16:20

Yep, a Lycoming:ok:

skytrain10 17th Oct 2011 18:52

To move things along, it goes under 2 different names that I've found and was a one-off conversion from a mass produced aircraft.

skytrain10 18th Oct 2011 08:51

Still no progress....so another clue...I stumbled across this one whilst looking for a recent challenge from evansb that turned out to be the Thalman T-3B.

RegDep 18th Oct 2011 09:15

You don't mean Ast Special Shoestring aka Mercury Air, do you? The mighty fairings would match but not the tail :ooh:.

skytrain10 18th Oct 2011 09:25

You don't mean Ast Special Shoestring aka Mercury Air, do you?
No, I don't mean that :) It is American though.
Bear in mind what I said, this is a conversion from a mass produced (and very well known) aircraft.
