Sorry, none of those. You are all too far north.

Strasbourg?
Not Strasbourg but it is in France.
Bordeaux Mérignac per chance ?
Might it be Dinard?
Phileas Fogg has it. It is Dinard.
Whoopee,
I don't have a pic ready so someone else have a go. |
I think PaperTiger's picture might be Floyd Bennett in New York.
And photographed in 1934.
And the building says "City of New York" on it.
I posted a similar picture of Floyd Bennett field as a challenge some time ago. Mel's list (see below) says it was on Page 4 of this thread. Mel recently posted a list of all airports in challenges. It is message number 1117 in this thread. seacue |

Golf Charlie Charlie IDed FBF before I did.

More than a day has elapsed since GCC identified Floyd Bennett Field and things have gone very quiet.
I'll post these pics to get things going. http://users.erols.com/rcarpen/airp88a.jpg http://users.erols.com/rcarpen/airp88b.jpg |
Has to be French, surely :)
Surely French! The aerodrome is still in use.
Is it Reims?
Not Reims, but the pictures were from a flying meeting.
Toussus-le-Noble ?
It isn't Toussus-le-Noble.
I can't find T-le-N in my Michelin road atlas. OK, I found it in Quid. "My" aerodrome in not in the Paris region nor in northern France. |
