Which Aerodrome Mk IV
Nothing man made. Local geology is v interesting. Not unique but this sppt is a bit remote

South pacific yes, Tonga no - we're east of Tonga (or a very long way West I guess) - it's a much smaller airfield than Nuku'alofa but the good people come in roughly the same size

I think we might be there by 16:00 today....... it isn't an atoll - its in the Marquesas (about 700 nm NE of Tahiti) and there's nary a reef nor beach around....... more like Rapa Nui/Easter island

Yes Ua Huka it is - one of the Marquesas' that has an airstrip. Its a wild spot but a very smart Museum Cultural centre just across the road is good. Pic of the arrival by boat...............
Main service is Twin Otters but the Police/Admin run Air Ambulance etc from there sometimes
