Hi Ken, on my lunch break now,
I agree with, and share your reservations about the D.22 and said I didn't think it was, but there doesn't seem to be that many cantilever biplanes with inverted inline engines about!!
I too looked for some illustrations of the Lemberger LD.20 and was going to extend my search at the next break. Graeme should be now or very soon so I doubt we'll get any prompts for a while (a sure fire statement to make him appear)!!
Back to work shortly, good luck with the search
Edit: Still looking during breaks
How about the Dietz Cabin Biplane of 1928, says AKA as Aeronca C-4, but no pictures that make sense?

But, TC, you should have more faith.
I think it's the Darmstadt D-22 - with reservations.
All the photos I have found do not show the mass balance weights on the lower ailerons.
Graemes' silhouette also shows a vertical strut running up from the undercarriage, which again photographs do not show.
Maybe it's a version of which only he has an image - there was a single D22a version.

Evening David,
I did wonder if it was the D.18 (picture of D-1561) as at least it had a Cabin that gave the fat after fuselage and lack of "daylight" under the upper wing. However, it appears to only be powered by the Genet radial which doesn't fit with the silhouette, which to me looks like an inverted inline type and as with the D.22, all the U/C struts and wing balance horns are different/absent
Going home soon, will check back later

Depending on what research was done for the last one, this could go quickly
Edited picture as noticed there was a missing strut!

I'll second the 10k congrats Mate
Not many around today! Just having a late lunch, so a chance for a look
Ken, I think yours is the Kiel Fk 166 ?
Back to work now and on dog duties too, not a lot of time to spare, so it'll have to be OH if correct, maybe LM will be able to put one up if his computer has arrived and all is in order!

Described as a single seat sportplane. Just the one built in the 1930's.
As you say, not many around today

Of course you'll make it you miserable bugger
I'm just off home now via "walkies", so I'll put one up now and you'll all (!!!!) have to wait for a response 'til I get home (be about an hour)
Apologies for a crappy silhouette, but I've only got Paint here, so I left three blokes in, but they're not covering much!
