Are you able to post something (as control is yours) or should I make it Open House?
buttrick has said a "proposed challenge" so I'm not sure what that means.

If he's able to monitor then I'm happy to go with his. If not, I have one ready.

Hi buttrick...currently LightningMate has control, which I offered in light of him coming very close to answering my last challenge (which was correctly identified by Karl). As regards to your post, are you saying that you don't know what it is? Or are you not certain that Aviafrance is correct? It actually looks very familiar and I'm thinking we've had it as a previous challenge. Let me check.

David, please go ahead with your next challenge.

Hi David...I've assumed this is a US designn, if for no other reason than there appears to be what is probably an N registered aircraft in the background...but initial Aerofiles searches have not proved very useful. Assume single or two seat open cockpit?

Single seat.

In my post *5786 I answered you with American.

The challenge is the original version. In Aerofiles is an image of it with four modifications.

See what you mean re modifications....the Replogle Gold Bug?

In my post *5786 I answered you with American.
You did! However having struggled through Aerofiles I was beginning to think that it was South American, and therefore not in Aerofiles

Afternoon Ken,

A busy weekend for me, but grabbing some time for a quick look-in

Intrigued by the silhouette around the spinner, do we see a foreplane and a wing? if so, is it a tandem, Canard or three-lifting-surface jobber?

Nothing so interesting Trevor...just a couple of antenna's on the starboard wing that just happen to show because of the angle of the photo. So a conventional arrangement.
