Ikarus/Soko Type 522. Nicely done Martin.

First saw it in action in the movie Kelly's Heroes with Clint Eastwood and Telly Savalas (and a cast of thousands).

Open house has been declared.

Thanks Brian. Hmmm...that photo looks familiar? No.8?

Here's No.5. Sorry, not a silhouette, but the fin is black.

Nope! Just looked like a Fairchild - engine just confirmed it - honestly

Not had a chance to look in until now...busy day. Will prep something before I hit the hay.

Thanks for the info Graeme,

I just found this on Fright Archive

1939 | 1- - 0817 | Flight Archive

Says it's the Clark Cabin Monoplane

Edit: Too late it seems, well done Ken (slight sense of relief as I don't have to find another challenge)

Engine ID help?
Not on Aerofiles it didn't; wasted some time there, but it did find it on the F Archive (another one word search)

Edit2: Strewth mate, NZ thread is so slooow: only added about 65 pages in 13 months and we fret when there's not many about

Yes, I thought I was talking you! Didn't realise till now Ken answered. A new swooper?

Caption calls No.5 the Fairchild-Clark-Duramold F-46 of 1938.

Time for the electric-blanket mate?
