The Datwyler MD-3...?
Nearly there Graeme but good enough It is actually the production version of the Datwyler MD-3, which is the SME MD-3 Aerotiga from Malaysia. Outwardly identical to the Datwyler.

Here's one of the 60 aircraft operated by the RMAF.

Nice of you to say so mate, but I take the view as there is no real difference then how would you know it was the SME built aircraft?
