The Phoenix it is, overto you Skytrain. Incidentally as a schoolkid Iflew on two demonstration flights with Freddie Laker on his new DC-10s in the early 70's. One just a local flight jolly and the other to Berlin, where we had a coach tour of East Berlin passing through the infamous Checkpoint Charlie.

Thanks buttrick. My first experience of Laker was also when I was at school...field trip to Majorca in 1975 if I recall. That was also on a Laker DC10. Loved it so much that 2 years later I started working for them!
Give me 20 mins or so to prep the next one.

Evening Ken,
Just got in and find my connection is working again, (not wonderfully fast though). So I had a quick look at the Fright Archive with a one word search and found a three-view of the American Bromon BR-2000; it's not a perfect match as the wingtips, flap splits, cockpit windows and front of the U/C sponsons are different, but seeing as the project was still under development, I'm going to stop looking now and bugger off into the kitchen, (I suppose it could be an unbuilt BR-1000 as the one I found looks later than yours)
