Home now and time for a quick look before kitchen duties.
I have found the E.A.C. Tractor Seaplane (AKA Circuit Tractor No5) in the Fright Archives and it looks pretty convincing to me!

G'day Graeme,
Thanks mate, Off to work soon or more cricket, Captains old and new dun well eh
I'll get another one up shortly, in the meantime my Challenge is still waiting for you! If you look where "they" often found their subjects, you'll find it on the first page of the search (with the right search string and I've already given that)

It is indeed Italian and is the Pasotti F.6 Airone
Noyade has control
The F in the designation of the Pasotti built F.6 Airone stood for its designer, Stelio Frati, who was responsible for several fast light wooden aircraft powered by either piston or turbine engines. The Airone (Heron in English) was a low-winged, twin piston engine driven, four seater. It was intended as a general light four seater for private or executive use, or as an air ambulance.
The prototype was powered by two flat 4-cylinder Continental C90 engines of 90 hp (67 kW) each, driving fixed pitch propellers. Production aircraft would have been powered by two 105 hp (78 kW) Walter Minor IV inverted inline engines with variable pitch airscrews.

That'll teach me to assume that a silhouette with tip tanks refers to an aircraft with tip tanks!
Still, I was close with the Frati link. Something classic about those lines.

Sorry TheIC, I was just preparing a post to say that the drawing showed tip tanks and that I don't know if they were ever fitted and a bit about the designer when Noyade pounced!!

'Artnoon Martin ,
Just looking in at coffee time!
I recon that's a good call mate ; the 3-view at the link below looks the same as Graeme's drawing, (although it has the old Ikarus name rather than Soko), but 'tiz the same innit!
Otvoreni maketarski forum :: Vidi temu - Soko 522
As it's only just after 2am in Murrumbidgee, Graeme won't be back for several hours yet and as players are a bit thin on the ground, Im sure he would want us to carry on with a seconder (like you did last night)! Therefore, I think you should take the win and declare an OH if that's still what you want!
Edit: Round objects!!! RR's light has just gone out
TheIC, I see your green light is on, would you like to take Martin's OH and put one up before it gets too late like last night?
Unfortunately, I can't stay at the moment as I'm back to work now, back after work in a couple of hours
