Oh that one? Turner Hot Two, G-BLPB.

Open house, as I will be off for a week.

Haven't got time to stop and play now, but I was wondering if it could be the Isaacs Fury ??

Edit, wasn't really convinced on that as the proportions didn't tally too well, but I see Reg has found it

Have a good weekend guys

As you say skwinty, it's not from Great Lakes.

Good night and have a good weekend

EDIT: Peril's of the pprune clock...Reg, your 2146 post has only just come up....yes, well done, it is the Turner TSW-2, which was adapted from the Currie Wot. Enjoy your break Reg.

RegDep has declared Open House

Morning Graeme, Evening Trevor

Seems to be having pprune clock problems again as Trevor's 2146 post has only just appeared!

Anyway Reg id'd it correctly as the Turner TSW-2 Hot Two, based as I have mentioned on the Currie Wot.

To confirm it is Open House.

This is all too confusing...Noyade's post has now disappeared!! Anyway I know you're there Graeme!

Not a clue, sorry.
However, for some strange reason it reminded me of an FW-190D (Which, of course, it is not!)

Yes, Spit161, I can see a hint of Focke-Wulf in it, but as you say, it isn't a Focke-Wulf.

Interesting looking project Bri, I'm sorry that there's not many players about this weekend, my online time is strictly limited too at the moment and I'll be out most of today.

I might as well kick the ball off with a couple of questions.

Can't see any wing fillets, so is it a mid-wing or shoulder-wing type?

It has quite a long nose; is the rise in profile of the top edge the start of a streamlined canopy and if so, is it a relatively modern racer??

It is the immediate post-war Argentine project I.Ae.231. I don't know if Kurt Tank had a hand in this, but chances are high.
OPEN HOUSE.

Seems to be a lack of interest in this thread. Considering we have probably covered less than 5% of the world's aircraft that seems to be a pity.
So back from my hols now, and in an effort to revive things, here is an easy one to get matters moving.

Hi skwinty...
Still interested but stretched for time
Glad to hear it....just seemed very quiet, as highlighted by evansb declaring Open House after submitting his own challenge over the weekend.

Not the Cessna 510 skwinty....in fact not a Cessna product.

Good afternoon Gentlemen,

So back from my hols now
Welcome back Ken, I hope that you had a good break

I don't think that it's really a lack of interest in the thread, but rather the unfortunate coincidence of several of the usual players being on holiday at the same time and others under time constraints due to pressure of work!

For my part, I'm now about halfway through a month long period of dog/house-sitting that is seriously hampering my efforts to compete; my early mornings and evenings as well as traditional coffee breaks are occupied by looking after the mutt, "walkies" and two houses to maintain, unfortunately, the internet connection at the other house in the evening is also down at the moment

I hope that some of the others will be back soon so we can get things humming again

Hi Trevor
Excellent holiday thank you. Nice and relaxing, which is just what we both needed after a hectic Summer.
Sounds like you've got your hands full at present. Hopefully we'll see more of you in a few weeks as things (hopefully) get back to normal and you are no longer in the dog-house, so to speak
Cheers
Ken
