If we can believe the translation, it had a very young designer, but it pre-dates the "wacky races" cartoon series, so that's not where he got the idea! Generally speaking, I think the design is quite striking

Well, apart from telling you all where it doesn't come from, I've given a couple of firm clues and some info re the designer; I need you guys to polish this one off before I go tonight as I can't monitor it after about six, but I confidently expect it'll be long gone by then!!

and yes it did fly, over two hours on its first flight (poor bugger was probably too scared to land)!!
