Not British mate. Not strictly a home-built, but could be argued that it was "home" designed. It was for a competition. Yes, a wooden Spit in the backgrond - it is in a museum after all!

Afternoon gentlemen,
Suspect Graeme may be by now, or soon will be, but I see skwinty's light is on!!
Internet down locally most of weekend, at work now and pretty busy, as I will be all week, (even after hours with dog/house-sitting duties for rest of the month), however, I will get in when I can !
Martin; I suspect from the "wink", that this one may be in an Indian museum, probably in the Mumbai area ??

OPEN HOUSE is declared!!!
AVM Harjinder Singh made the Kanpur II (BR-571) powered by a Lycoming 250 hp engine. It was the same class as HAL’s Krishak (inspired by Aeronca Sedan). Meanwhile, the Army wanted an aircraft for Air Observation Post (Air OP) duties. In order to select an aircraft for the Artillery, a team was set up in January 1963.

You got there first sabredog, but I was surprised about the question about power plant (not your question). It is clearly visible, just where it is.
The real reason for my post: Brian, you might wish to recap briefly your history of Europe 101 .

Sabredog is correct. The Gallaudet D-1/D-4. An advanced American design, operated by the U.S. Navy. Only the make of powerplant differentiates the D-1 from the D-4. Your turn.
