Morning skwinty!

A technical question (which assumes that this is a tandem two-seater): are you sure that the protuberance in the first cockpit (behind what I think is the windscreen) is part of the a/c, or could it be part of the building behind? How about the second one between the cockpits?

Morning RegDep,

The angular protuberance is the eave of the building in the background.

The vertical protuberance is part of the aircraft.

I see now that I have omitted to show the glass windscreen for the aft cockpit.

Hope that helps.

The shadow of the wings shows a sweep due to the angle of the sun and the slope of the aircraft.

The wings are not swept.

Graeme, good to have you back.

The picture is small, a bit like a large stamp on my screen.

And yes, it is Mitsubishi Betty, or more exactly, Mitsubishi G4M2e Model 24 Tei.

Special version for the transport of the ramming attack bomb plane Kugisho/Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka ("Baka") Model 11, conversions of G4M2a Models 24 Otsu and 24 Hei. Had armour protection for the pilots and fuselage fuel tanks.

The Ohka/Baka is the smudge below it.

Over to you Graeme!

(No e-mail, I think we are in the clear for the current one, and you have a couple of days to get one )
