Which Aerodrome Mk II
Hmm, the surrounding trees look coniferous, the barn? at the bottom of the picture looks Scandinavian - red/brown walls. there's cultivated fields at the top right, so not so far north. Could be Canada, Scandinavia or even northern Germany. The forest looks planned with logging roads and fire breaks. The runways has been shortened - formerly military maybe? Are the brown patches heather? Looks almost Scottish. Off to some more research...

At this point:
No to Canada
Yes to heather
Yes to ex-military (WWII auxiliary)
Edit to add:
No to Germany and Scotland.

Well I've still no real idea. I don't think it's Denmark. Possibly Finland, or USA.
Can you post the name of the third-building-from-the-left's second-in-command's batman's cook during it's decommissioning period as a further clue?

Aaaa? Do I hear some discontent brewing among the congregation?
OK. No names. My policy.
But a picture should help. Here's the recent challenge in the WC thread flying not so far from the challenge aerodrome.

Well, go to Finland, then. And this is an airport with both IATA and ICAO code, not half a square mile of island sticking out of water somewhere south . Not that I were discontent either .

You are there Mr. G!
All yours.
Edit to say: It's a nice place, this Kauhajoki. Went there a couple of weeks ago invited by the local Ford dealer to see a basket ball game in a Learning Center (they call schools that way). Great building with all learning tools imaginable. Watch those Finns!
