Looks like Double Hydco has removed his challenge so it must be Open House again.

Bri, you are correct it is Queenstown, NZ.

It's a great airport with a nice mix of types (P51 to A320 when we visited) in a stunning location.

All yours, DH

Thank you DH. As Ciarain located the correct island, I would like to pass the baton over to him.

Okay, as some time has passed, I'll submit this "Which Aerodrome?":

Nympsfield?

If so, what's the year of your photo, Bri?

Thanks, Bri. Nympsfield was one of my old stomping grounds (but not that long ago!)

Here's the next submission:

How about Maule's field at Moultrie, GA? It's conveniently obscured by cloud on the current Google Earth so I could't veryfy it, but I know they maintain a stretch of water alongside the runway for floatplanes.

Isn't it frustrating when you can't find the place yet an airfield beside a major river should be so easy to find....
So I'll go for Schachtholm by the Kiel Canal.

It is indeed Vilshofen, right on the Danube. It's a very nice town across the river from the airfield.

I think the baton passes to skytrain10, since you mentioned the aerodrome specifically. Well done, over to you.
