Tangier Island in Chesapeake Bay. Not many people live there for sure.

Probably warmer there than here where I am now, though. We have now only -26°C. Last night -29°C. A couple hundred miles North -39.7°C last night.

Open House if correct, Mr Grubby.

Yes, it is Pompano Beach Air Park (KPMP). That's a Goodyear blimp hangar in the distance.

I figured that Cubs2Jets or another southern USA lurker would get this one.

He has declared OPEN HOUSE

You're in the right part of the Pacific but not Tulagi.

Duckbutt.

Well done ! Spot on.

Ponam Island. The Admiralty Islands. A group of eighteen islands in the Bismarck Archipelago, to the north of New Guinea in the South Pacific Ocean. These are also sometimes called the Manus Islands, after the largest island.

You sir, have the helm.

Tacklebury.

Germany? Looks like a NATO field built adjacent to a WW2 site.

Even the "new" bit looks disused; is this the case?

Most definitely in use, Russ. Although I do not have more recent figures, in 2000 the runway at the top saw over 70,000 movements.

I have no reason to doubt that the current figure would be much different.
