It is where I want to be for the rest of my life. Walker's Cay, Abaco, Bahamas.

Well, that didn't last long. I'd say our friend evansb has "been around"! Your wish is my command - the island IS for sale: Walker's Cay Hmmm...they don't list an asking price.

Flew a Cheyenne in and out of there two dozen or so times in the early eighties. Even landed on the "short" runway. Only stayed one or two nights though...

Over to you evansb.

Save for the hurricane season, yeah, I can picture myself living there. Such things dreams are made of .. (and winning lottery tickets..) Here is the next mystery aerodrome:

The colour scheme looks Indian and the vegetation suggests tropical and wet. Almost art deco, the lower part of the tower - late colonial era, with an addition on top?

Thanks. An interesting approach to that airport! I found it by looking at photos of Rangoon of all places! Here is the next "What Aerodrome?":

Yes, former RAF base. Runways no longer visible from google earth, but the hangars and perimiter are.

RAF Feltwell, Norfolk. The picture is quite old, there were in recent years some domes on the airfield. There never were any hard runways.

Open house if correct.

Sorry folks , put one up last night that amazingly (to me) was a recent duplicate despite me checking the lists (but not checking recent posts).

Deleted it now. Remains OPEN HOUSE
