correct Ashboro regional (KHBI)

home base for my recent trip.
Ashboro runway is 5,500 ft long and 100ft wide and the people there are just so friendly. Also home of the North Carolina Air Museum.
The americans certainly have the right attitude to GA.
Just wish the UK would take a leaf out of their book.

Something a bit different, because I don't know the answer .

Posted in a Warbirds forum, the URL indicates the unit as VU-7 of the USN. But it isn't North Island where they were based. Anyone ?
