Well Barry, a few minutes has turned into a few days !!!!

Il-76, is it in Eastern Europe, maybe USSR, Kiev ???

Clint,

I was thinking the same thing, but the cedar trees indicate maybe further south than Kiev, so how about somewhere on or near the Black Sea?

Yeah 42, you could be right about Kiev.

Correct on both counts. Taken on a 35mm film and transposed to digital.

It was Soviet Union when you (and me) went to school. So were many others Soviets, but (some vehemently) not Russians .
