I'm really not sure. However the fin/rudder seems familiar....

Sorry, the comment on POP and Aerofiles was just on LM banter. I meant tho say that two of the challenge planes were built, i.e., population was 2.
It is not in Aerofiles. It is not Argentinean, either. Stick to mainland Europe. And its wing design was a Handley Page wing.

Had to miss coffee this afternoon, so having a quick look before going home, but still fishing
Do you mean that it was without interplane struts, that is, a cantilever type with just supporting cabane-struts? Or maybe, they are strutted, but in such a way as they don't appear in the silhouette, a problem I was having with both the Henschel and the Fiat when I paused to look closer!
Do you mean the wings were actual wings taken or copied from an HP aircraft, or manufactured by the challenge's company to conform to the so called "Handley Page Wing" slotted design?
1930's ?
All too much struts
but the wing is a Handley Page wing
1930's ?

Yes
I don't think actually taken. The source merely says something to the effect of "Wings Handley Page".

Hey, hey, hey - not all at the same time.....!
Well Back to square one or square two. Why not all lurkers take a good look at the challenge and watch the picture in your dreams through the night.
Here is your good night story:
I used to have an Airedale Terrier (this picture is not of her - she was usually sitting better - but cropped from net). She used to look like this when she was trying to figure out something she could not fully understand.
Good night.

OK, seriously.
Let me summarise:
- Mainland European.
- Not a Henschel, Fiat or Letov.
- Certain famialirity in tail/rudder - Handley Page wing design.
- Two built
- Look back to first/second question, and wonder was the question correct. While doing it, do what Airedales do.

My ears are burning! Looking at the active list, I don't think there's many likely players about, where are they all?
Not got much time to participate at the moment, 'coz hellish busy and short staffed, plus new building work going on.
Just looking at Reg's last summary; by their absence, it looks like my search failure, is because the very obvious physical features are not mentioned in relation to any images on the web (like skytrain's Icelander).
Ditto with the Handley Page Wing design, I've tried all manner of variations (including different languages), but not hit the right nuance to hook it with a search!!
Looking back to the first/second question; does that mean it's a foreign entry in Aerofiles?
Do what Airedales do! I would get thrown out of the office , or do you mean it's a Hunter?
Sorry guys, but I'm back to work now, I'll try and get back in a couple of hours!
