Looks like pre WWI - so probably a 2010 design!

Been looking at Wiki Ken.....a little hard to establish...but I think 1921.

About 200 built....(I won't say it! )

"Noyade 200!"
Now you know how confused the Noyade 500 made certain people!

I think I'll have to come up with my own challenge now.....

Now back to your offering - 200 built, but evidently some question over the date - odd for a mass produced and therefore presumably reasonably well known machine - unless of course its Russian??

Well, there were two versions built, one in 1917 and the other in 1921. Both very similar looking. Production was 50 and 150 respectively. Did a google and there is a photo of this machine doing something very famous...quite a few pictures of it...

Intriguing, isn't it?...

Lincoln Standard biplane
Had to google that Reg.

It does look similar!?

No relationship as as far as I can tell...apart from where they came from.

Perfect timing mate! Your Control.

Aeromarine 39 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One landed on USS Langley 26th October 1922 - the first recorded deck landing on a US Carrier.

Cheers!

Thanks Graeme and good night.

Searched '1917 "POP: 50" 1921 "POP: 150"' with proximity option 'page' in Aerofiles search engine. No need to know diddley squat about air/aeroplanes.

Open House prevails
