I am very sorry to inform that the word Mail-plane does not appear in its entry .
And I said it was American because Skytrain asked if it was, not because I wanted to be ambiguous .

That doesn't surprise me Reg, you're just getting too damned wiley in choosing your subject .
I agree, you answered the question that skytrain asked perfectly honestly, it was the question that was ambiguous!
You didn't say if it had a code (OhwM or similar) and if so how many seats as you said it also had a transport role?
Thanks, I'm just having something to eat, then I'll take a look!

Hallo Graeme!
I seize the opportunity to send a message to the future: From 2010 to 2011: There is a reason why it looks like the Fleetster. It is because it is a Fleetster you Wizzie.
Happy New Year to you Graeme!
All to Sinco . Let's see for how long .
And it was variable, as to the seats. Not ambiguous.

Happy upcoming New Year to you both!
Actually, very good mate. Not that much alcohol. Wife and I were outside, sheltered with music blaring...and we were singing. Luckily all the neighbours were gone.
Or maybe we drove them away?!
how's the head??
Or maybe we drove them away?!
The wheels look very small...?
deHavilland looking tail.
British/European?
So, what are you two doing soon? Not going to sit on computer chairs till the New Year, are you?

Reg is very nearly there now! I've got a couple of hours yet to make merry, but the fireworks have already started here!
Small wheels, yes they are! Not DH, it's European

How shall I put it, I don't want to offend 'em, 'coz I'm sure they like it! Let me say it's already 2011 there, it's a small country and their currency is the Euro.

Piece of cake. Kai PON-1 from Estonia. Euro country for 1 hour 41 minutes by now.
Very appropriate challenge. These folks are worth our respect, considering what they have been through over centuries, and not the least in 20th century.
I dedicate my toast to all underprivileged who have fought their way out!
Sincerely yours
Reg

Well done Reg; I wondered if you'd pick up up on the Euro clue only three countries smaller (pop) and they have no aircraft history. So well done Estonia too

I'm off to watch the fireworks!! Happy New Year to One and All!! TC

Thanks Sinco!
For starters in 2011, and for keeps for a while, because I am not going to be among the early risers tomorrow (which, in fact is today )
Have a good one, everybody!

Believe it's this:
"Morel Canard Biplane of 1911.
Designed by Capitaine Morel de l’infanterie coloniale and built by Pierre Pons - who had formed the SAFA (Société Anonyme Français d’Aviation). Built to carry two passengers in addition to its pilot, this unusual biplane was powered by an Anzani 60 hp, 6-cylinder radial engine. Its primary specifications are: Length: 7 m; Span: 9 m; Surface: 23 m sq.; Weight: 380 kgs.
For me in CST it's still 2010 for about 3 more hours (although we celebrate the New Year when the ball drops in Times Square - must be getting older) so, as I'll be asleep when it's confirmed, Open House.
