Brrr.... yes. Thanks. Not that subtle, but nice.

IMAM (Meridionali) Ro.37 Lince (Italian for “Lynx”)

You made it to the Noyade 500 Hall of Fame . 569 built.

If correct, must be Open House. Will be away for two weeks - in the backwoods of nowhere.

Good morning.

Spoof......

Since the Lynx is the national animal of Romania, is that where this aircraft comes from?

So far, the only one I have found with a fin like that is the A.W Aries, but little else seems to fit.

Not a Fokker!!! And to recap, not Italian, not Finnish and not Romanian.

I must admit that the suggested machines are all incredibly similar but not what I am looking for. Yes, A-S Lynx engine, by the way.

I doubt it... need to check.

In 1938 three of them participated in a round trip of the parent country, a total of 1087 kms

Not that I can see. It seems that only 7 of the 12 ordered were built and they flew in civilian guise pre-war, after the initial delivery to the National Guard.
