Regarding the last challenge, could I please have the correct designation. As the projected aircraft looks totally different to the Messerschmitt 1079/51 posted as a challenge at Page 958 Post#19146 and Messerschmitt Me328A posted as a challenge at Page 1229 Post# 24566.
When making up the lists I do not have time to recheck for correct designations and will post the name given for example:-
At Post# 27945 it was said that
It was entered as the Vulcan Ion 110 because that was the name given when originally posted.
I know it is sometimes difficult but please do not shoot the messenger

skytrain, I checked after I saw your post.
I think it's because it's listed under Vulcan Ion 110.

Well. Yes and no, apparently. The source I took it, brings it back as both, although I silhouetted it as Cl1. But the civil version Junkers J10 it is definitely not.
I grant this to Graeme.

Mel,
I think the correct designation should be:
There have been several Me 328 variants (A, B, C and this one at least), and they were all quite different.
I think the correct designation should be:
Messerschmitt Me 328 Bordflugzeug (parasite fighter)

Mel, my apologies...had not intended to get at you. You are quite correct in that the designation is Vulcan Ion.
As for the Messerchmitt, I'll have to leave others to comment as it seems to only appear in the google book previously referred to. Not referred to in the Secret Projects series nor on the secret projects website.
Cheers
Ken

Ion Aircraft
No need to duck, Mel. Nobody is aiming at you. The discussion was on finding it on your list, not on it being there.
Thanks for all, Mel!

He might... no, he had!
That one too is listed in the McFarland book, and with the same Porsche 109-005 turbojet (labeled "expendable" in the Miranda table).
But how do you explain that this one

have the same designation, being different beasts?
Btw, second one is mine, so it's not only an "artist impression" by the book's author based on thin air, I think.
Fascinating... and garbled

Seems to have slotted flaps, and possibly full span.
I don't think drooped ailerons were around much then.
Then again it could be a worn felt tip again.
Navy job?
