RegDep, I can offer you an umbrella.
To continue the tradition, the racing aircraft of the car manufacturer did not fly either. But......it still exists and has not so long ago been completely restored for museum use.

Well, didn't Louis D. de Monge (designer of Bugatti's racer aircraft Bugatti Model 100 racer in EAA AirVenture museum’s Fergus Plaza) work for Buscaylet de Monge, later Société Aérienne Bordelaise/Dyle et Bacalan?
So, my last straw is Buscaylet n/n.
Shoot, beaten by 3 minutes
Skytrain10, you must be right: Triplace de reconnaissance. 2 exemplaires construits qui ne volèrent jamais. Monoplan aile médiane. Bipoutre. Construction bois et métal.

Thanks WK....an interesting machine, and an excellent challenge
Morning David....not sure about the shooting....I think the "hit" was only after some guidance from WK!
Here's one to start the day off....going to be in the garden for the next hour (before the rains hits) so will check in a little later:

I'm a bit baffled.
We have:
A cranked elliptical thick wing with unusual ailerons and no flaps (unless they are very small inboard split type)
An apparently large V-engine with no cooling radiators!
What appears to be cannon armament firing through the prop.
Is this a relatively modern fake aeroplane?
If it is genuine, then the Germans played around with these sort of things.

David, not sure if this will help you or not!
No, its pre WWII vintage.
Not German
Morning Martin, not Romanian

Ken,
I'm going to stick with the balkans. Is it an Aero (Yugo') machine or at least from the central european region? Or, close to the balkans, an Italian? They liked elliptical wings and that kind of u/c config, I think.

Well and truly tied up yesterday and today and only got an hour today and have got to go very soon.
This looks like a very good challenge from skytrain and already seems to have been exhaustively searched.
Could it be the unbuilt planned Hungarian Weiss Manfred WM-123 Ezustnyil II ? It has a similar planform and the inverted gull wing of the radial engined WM-23, and I suppose the increased span, larger fin and aft moved horizontal tailplane might be expected with the longer/heavier DB-605 engine that was to be used. I realise that it probably isn't this as I type, 'coz it's probably just too late to be Pre-WWII.
Art'noon LM. I just sent you a PM and now I see your light is on, N.B the variant I mentioned has a V-12 DB mate! Gotta go now, I don't think my guess above is correct, but OH if it is as I won't be back 'til Monday.
BTW, has anyone noticed the very faint extended "wozzat" (dive-brake maybe) under the fuseelage just behind the wing?
Y'all have a good weekend!
