Silhouette challenge

I said the dry weight was 410 lbs. That does not include pilot and fuel.
Sod it, I'm beginning to sound like an expert on these things!
Well, part of the ATPL syllabus is Performance and Mass & Balance
BTW RR,
Dreadful silhouetting! The aeroplane has rough edges....sharpen up mate
How did you come to 410 lbs? I was doing the same at 300 kgs, but got nowhere....oh well

Sure have. You left the ident on it....
PS I left last night because we had visitors, which also explains why I did not get the PMs off to you all about the meet. That's a job for today.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is newer than it looks.....there are a couple of older types that fit the description that I cannot find photos of, so I may as well suggest those:
- Cook JC1 Challenger
- Strat
Going to look at newish aircraft now!

I'm having a perspective moment.
The "bulge" on the left looks like it is in the centre of the prop disc and is a spinner, and the one on the right looks like a semi-retracted nosewheel. I can't see a tailwheel. Hence my shot at an inverted engine.
If I'm completely wrong, then all I can think of is two horizontal protruding cylinders.

Yes, the left bump is the spinner. The one under the nose is, I belive, part of the u/c door assembly. There are no protruding cylinders
Upon checking it is a protruding nosewheel

I just re-checked the photos. At some point there was a fillet added to the fin, only small but ran 2/3 of the length between the fin and the cockpit/cabin

It must be tea break time!
OK, clue:
It was built for a purpose which at the time (early 1940s) did require it. The manufacturer's vision was wrong and beyond the few built (I have so far only found two) the project was cancelled.
