BTW Martin.

When you suggested it was a Yank and I asked you why you thought that, which nation had colour camera technology in 1916?

Just had to be American.

Boeing built a replica B&W in 1966, and presently hangs from the rafters in a museum. I think the photo, based on an original black-and-white photo, is colourized.

I was wondering if the photo was the replica?

Sorry guys but internet is so slow here at present that everything freezes when I try to access photobucket...its taken 5 mins just to get this far on SC.

So rather than hold everyone up I'm declaring Open House.

Hi RR,

A parting shot before I go home, is it a Shenyang J-5 ?

I was going by the aerial behind the canopy, but I see that if it's correct skytrain has pipped me to it!
