The question mark makes me think you are not confident.

It is indeed Ken.

Also known as the Verville-Packhard (Sperry) VCP-R.

It's all yours.

Its just that I found 3 different pictures, and whereas one more or less matched, the tail in yours seemed smaller. Down to the angle of the photo I guess.

Next one follows shortly.

Very challenging!

T-tail, bubble canopy, and a retractable.

Photographed on a sunny day maybe in Eastern Europe......

Summary of the aircraft is spot on.

As to where the photo was taken I am not sure, but it is not an eastern European aircraft.

I've found something very similar, but with a small ventral fin, made in France.

Rotax engine?

A leading question RR....the manufacturer has produced unpowered gliders but is probably best known for this particular machine.

Not Swiss LM.

I don't want to lead anyone down the wrong track....so this may help. It was built from the outset as a motor glider, hence the sailplane style tail.

And not a Grob RR

Good Afternoon skytrain,

Could it be the Valentin Taifun ?

I'm just finishing my lunchbreak, so if correct, please declare Open House.
