Nicely (and rapidly done) drawbarz.

I had a feeling it might be too easy.

Yep, its the MT-1 amphibious glider, built in 1935/36. Very little on the net, save for a photo which I found:

Now that really is interesting and it would explain why sometimes someone doesn't respond, despite being prompted. They're not 'really' there...scary. No soul, just a green light. Oooh...goosebumps!
