Just a sec.
I see that yesterday there has been a lot of nice OT on SC...

this is not a chick...

approach was quite shoddy, but t/d, while not too soft, was just where it was supposed to be...

Never land soft mate - it wears the tyres out faster.

Wot??

If it is a Stampe with the Gipsy Major engine, then I would say it is the SV-4B.

Attitude could be anything, registration can't find.

Correct
Type is actually Stampe-Vertongen SV-4A,
registration is F-BDHC and attitude is inverted
I said that to make things simpler for you, because the source of the silhouette doesn't say the model, I found it by looking for the registration.

Now if you will excuse me I have urgent matters to attend...
See you after lunch!
Thread is yours.

the WACO 10-H - which is not
the Consolidated TW-3 (aerofiles reports different poweplant from wikipedia) - which is not
the Boeing NB-2 - which is not

You're right there.

This aeroplane was a one-off conversion of a previous model, of which only five were built.

The conversion was for racing.

Just seen your edit:

TW-3
I like it, I like it! Now change the W..........

Closest shapes are PT-3 and NY-2, but powerplants are wrong in both cases.
Sifted through google search, aerofiles, aviastar, airwar.ru, flightglobal and wiki but couldn't find a Consolidated-build, 180hp Wright-Hispano E radial-powered, one-off racer conversion...
