LM I am sorry to step out and leave my green on. What I get with your clue is "Jacobs 104 helicopter" in a picture caption of Jacob's engine, and nothing else. So, I say
Jacobs 104 helicopter
But have yet to see another picture than your challenge.

Abend Reg ,
A helicopter site I often use lists it as the Jacobs Model 01/104 and says that 104 was to be the model number had it gone into production; so presumably the skeletal test-bed is the Model 01, but I would think that your answer should suffice!

Evening TC,
Went back to the site you mentioned and found the picture. As I didn't ID it in my first round focused Giggle search there, I repeated it and it did not come out this time, either, although all the other markers I used came.
Ho hum. One is tempted to believe that the only perfect information is that there is no (other) perfect information.
One learns (if one ever learns anything) that there always is a lot of room for improvement.

A thread drift, yes, but I'd urge all to read the "Seeking information on Captain C. N. Pelly - my grandfather" thread at this H&N forum. Not too long yet to read post-by-post.
It tells you graphically what pprune is at its best.
