Yakovlev Yak-2?
I think you're on the money with the Yak-2 mate. The lower line drawing is the Ya-22...

No mate, gentlemen silhouetters do not fight.

I bid you farewell and stick to canned veggies mate! Say goodnight to David for me and I'll catch you guys later.

Unlikely, but if it is the Ya-22 version... open house.

Cheers.

Nite mate.

Ya-22 was later renamed to Yak-2 to match the new numbering system….

My source gives it as the Yak 22, by which name the Yak 2 was originally known.

If you look at Graemes' lower picture you will see a more slightly curved fuselage upper surface, which is accurately profiled in my silhouette.

Graeme takes the win for the history stats, but has declared Open House.

You therefore all have a chance - off you go.

Afternoon...looks like a Fairchild tail, so could be the Cornell III (aka PT-26)?

If correct will have to be OH as back to work now.
