Thanks mate,

Busy isn't the word for it and it's going to be non-stop for another six weeks!!

Not been in long, just had something to eat and a quick look in on SC, checked AQ while waiting for your response and was going to ask if you forgot to enter, obviously not from your statement above! I wonder WTF happened?

I haven't got anything ready to go at the moment, but will sort sort something out before I go to bed!

'Mildly' ketoacidotic but improving
I'm glad you said mildly mate, that can be nasty, is he in hospital?

non-stop for another six weeks!!
Because business is good? Or are there problems?
WTF happened?
Dunno mate, but life is too short to worry about that sort of thing! And speaking of life getting shorter....51 today!
is he in hospital?
No, not yet, pushing the insulin and watching closely.

Mate, I don't know if you're interested, but my new scanner/printer has some sort of wireless capacity and pointed me to an image site...

http://www.picnik.com/

I haven't seen it before but seems very user friendly and it can make those 'coloured' images that David drones on about!

Business is pretty good thanks, it could be better and there are always problems of one sort or another, usually suppliers going under or stopping making something we use, or changing the spec and rendering it useless for us! Some of our instruments in use in Japan were damaged by the earthquake and we are repairing them. Also some bearings we need for a new product to be launched in six weeks have been delayed by the tsunami, which wrecked the manufacturing plant.

On top of that we are having the Grand Opening of our new factory extension in three weeks, so there's builders everywhere!

I hope your boy continues to improve and remains well enough to stay at home.

Just seen your counter Change mate! Happy Birthday!!

Try this one for size!

It did have an engine, but apparently it wasn't fitted when this drawing was "taken"

Thanks for the birthday wishes, nothing to it really, just don't die.

Interesting challenge. Love the landing gear, a little over-engineered maybe! Bleriot modification to the XI?

I think the main landing gear looks like those early bicycles that just took your weight while you strode along, always makes my eyes water just looking at that and imagining how bumpy the "roads" must have been then As for the outriggers, as you say, a bit over-engineered. The landing gear was probably its most notable feature!

Not a Bleriot adaptation, not even French.

delayed by the tsunami
Interesting info there Trevor. It's amazing how much the world was affected by the events in Japan. I heard on the news that as a result Sony is in serious trouble.

Not a Bleriot adaptation, not even French.
Ok mate, thanks. I'll let you get some rest and catch up with you later. Cheers!

Thanks mate, getting on for 1am here, gotta be up soon after five, so I should just get my usual four hours in, I'll still listen to the radio though, as it's not a continuous ZZZzzzzzz

I take it you're at home today keeping an eye on your boy, have a good one, catchya later!!

Parting clue! The challenge aircraft was notable for having the first example of a particular design feature for its parent country!

Much improved mate. He and I are alone tonight and I'm going to try making this in our new Aldi electric pressure cooker. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the birthday wishes David!

No idea what the challenge is Trevor.

Morning TC.

was notable for having the first example of a particular design feature for its parent country!
Would that be something to do with control surface architecture?

I note the new building will be open soon - love to see it finished as opposed to my last visit.

Morning LM ,

If that's an un-editable typo for UC, then yes!

Graeme, I see it serves four, so you can both pig-out, bon appetite (and good luck)
