Thanks Graeme.

Weather has been nice here for the last couple of weeks, until today...wet and murky!

Japan...hard not to miss whats going on. I think the BBC have most of their reporters there. Tragic sequence of events though....hope things sort themselves out for them.

Here we go:

Thought it might raise a few eyebrows! Not a Dornier or a HP design though!

Post 1935 Graeme but yes, it was British.

Something out of those Tony Butler books Ken?
Could have been, but I only have 1 of them, and its not a jet bomber!

It could well have featured in a Putnam book. But not an Avro design.

It was a response to a tender. The winning candidate was a well known British bomber.

The Short Stirling was indeed the winning candidate

Sadly we don't produce many (make that any) bombers....still we do still have a flying Avro Vulcan. Now if we could just get a couple of Douglas Skybolts fitted to it.....!
