Any connection with the SG-38....there are a lot of similarities....an updated licence built version? Maybe American?

It certainly isn't American. I suppose you'll now start knocking off countries until you get a hit......

Thanks David....1953 kind of gave it away....I was assuming it was significantly older! Nice challenge.
